Tankoa Yachts has announced the technical launch of “Rose”, the first hull in the new Tankoa T55 Sportiva series. Initially unveiled in June 2021 in collaboration with Luca Dini Design & Architecture, this marks the shipyard’s entry into the luxury sport yacht segment.

Launched on Monday, 14 April, “Rose” is now in the final stages of construction ahead of delivery. The 55-metre superyacht combines streamlined exterior lines with a contemporary design. Her exterior was developed by Luca Dini Design & Architecture, while the interior was created by Piero Lissoni and his team at Lissoni & Partners, featuring a custom, modern aesthetic.

The owner, a young entrepreneur with longstanding ties to the yachting world, was actively involved throughout the project. The yacht includes extensive floor-to-ceiling glazing on both the main and upper decks, designed to maximise natural light and enhance the onboard atmosphere.

“Rose” to debut in Monaco

A notable feature is the Nemo Room — a semi-submerged lounge offering close visual access to the surrounding sea. This space, together with expansive outdoor relaxation areas and a large beach club built around a central pool, was a key part of the owner’s vision. Additional features include two panoramic jacuzzis: one private unit on the owner’s terrace and another full-beam jacuzzi located at the bow of the upper deck.

“Rose” will remain at the Tankoa facility for outfitting and sea trials before making her public debut at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show.

Vincenzo Poerio, CEO of Tankoa Yachts, stated: “Through the Sportiva Line, we are offering a new interpretation of contemporary luxury—more streamlined, more performance-oriented, yet still retaining the elegance and attention to detail expected from Italian yacht building. ‘Rose’ reflects this balance and represents an important step in our ongoing development.”
