Damen Yachting has delivered the Amels 80 superyacht “Project Zurich”. Following handover at the Dutch shipyard in Vlissingen, the yacht has departed for her maiden cruising season, which will take her via the United Kingdom to the Baltic Sea and the Norwegian fjords.
The latest Amels 80 reflects the owner’s highly customised vision while building on the proven Limited Editions platform. According to the yard, the interior was developed in close cooperation with a confidential design studio and features a contemporary design language combined with an extensive collection of artworks by international artists integrated throughout the yacht.
“Project Zurich has been an exceptionally rewarding yacht to bring to life,” said Sander Peeters, Project Manager at Damen Yachting. He highlighted the close collaboration between the owner’s team, the designers and the shipyard, adding that the yacht was delivered on schedule, within budget and in line with the original design vision.
The Amels 80 belongs to Damen Yachting’s Limited Editions range, which combines a standardised engineering platform with extensive opportunities for owner-specific customisation.
