The Abeking & Rasmussen shipyard is to comprehensively overhaul the superyacht “Saint Nicolas”. The refit work in Lemwerder will take eight months.

The 70-meter motor yacht, built in 2007, is being commissioned by A&R Services. According to the shipyard, the extensive refit will include an extension of the bathing platform and the installation of a new fitness room and a spa on the sun deck. [ds_preview]

The project is being managed by Arrow Yachts (Monaco). The aim is to redesign both the exterior and the interior of the yacht in collaboration with renowned design studios. Pascoli International, Patrick Knowles Design and Murray & Associates are involved.

Major order for Abeking’s service division

“This refit project represents a significant milestone for A&R Services,” says Daniel Reichwald, Managing Director of A&R Services, the retrofit division of Abeking & Rasmussen (A&R). “Our team is committed to delivering exceptional work and exceeding the owner’s expectations.” The refit project is expected to take eight months to complete.

A&R Services is a provider of refit and repair services for yachts founded by the traditional shipyard in Lemwerder on the Weser. The “Saint Nicolas” was built in 2007 at the neighboring Lürssen shipyard according to a design by the well-known designer Espen Øino. With a width of 13 m, she is one of the most voluminous ships of her size and has six decks. She reaches a speed of 15.5 knots.
