Italian design studio Nuvolari Lenard has revealed the first details of its new superyacht concept, “Project White Arrow”. The 116-metre design was developed in collaboration with Moran Yacht & Ship and is intended to serve as the basis for a fully customised superyacht.
With “Project White Arrow”, Nuvolari Lenard has introduced a new superyacht concept that can be tailored to the requirements of a future owner. The Italian studio is responsible for both the exterior and interior design, while Moran Yacht & Ship is handling brokerage and project development.
The 116-metre superyacht is designed to accommodate 14 to 16 guests and a crew of 40. The concept reflects the growing importance of yachts as private living spaces rather than simply vessels for leisure activities.
According to the designers, owners and their families are spending increasingly long periods on board, sometimes several months at a time. As a result, privacy, wellbeing and the individual design of living spaces are becoming more important.
“Project White Arrow reflects this changing ‘sentiment’, exploring how scale, architecture and design can create an environment that feels both exceptional and deeply liveable,” says Carlo Nuvolari.
The yacht’s size offers opportunities to adapt its architecture and layout to the individual needs of its future occupants. Rather than representing a finalised design, the concept is intended as a starting point for further development in consultation with a prospective owner.
Sculptural lines and extensive glazing
The exterior of “Project White Arrow” features a sculptural design characterised by clean lines and carefully balanced proportions. Extensive glazing is intended to create a close connection between the interior spaces and the surrounding seascape.
The studio has also focused on creating a distinctive silhouette while taking the yacht’s functionality and usability into account.
“The most interesting projects are not necessarily those that arrive with every answer already defined. They are the ones that establish a strong vision and leave the right space for the owner to make it their own,” says Dan Lenard.
The architecture, interior spaces and onboard facilities can be further developed in consultation with the future owner.
Nuvolari Lenard is working with Moran Yacht & Ship on the project. The collaboration combines the design concept with technical project development and the requirements involved in building a bespoke superyacht.
No details have yet been announced regarding a potential shipyard, propulsion system or construction schedule.
