YYachts has entered into an agreement with Marina Estrella for the representation of its luxury sailing yachts in Spain. Through the company’s eleven offices across the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands, YYachts is further expanding its nationwide footprint in one of Europe’s most established sailing yacht markets.

Spain has long been considered a strategic market for performance-oriented sailing yachts, the company says. Strong owner communities throughout the Mediterranean, combined with a well-developed refit and service infrastructure, provide favourable conditions. With offices ranging from the Costa Brava in the north to Andalucía in the south, and a strong presence in the Balearic Islands, Marina Estrella offers comprehensive geographic coverage and direct access to both domestic and international clients.

The headquarters for Marina Estrella’s representation of YYachts will be located in Puerto Portals, Mallorca, with Jerome Mainemare serving as the main contact. Close cooperation is planned with the YYachts Design & Development office in Palma as well as with the company’s after-sales service team, ensuring seamless support for owners and clients in the region. “We are very pleased with the trust YYachts has placed in us,” said Javier Candela, Commercial Director of Marina Estrella. “The brand’s positioning, performance-driven philosophy and build quality fit perfectly within our premium portfolio.”

Founded more than 40 years ago, Marina Estrella has established itself as a leading yacht brokerage and dealership group in the Spanish market. The company combines new yacht sales, brokerage, charter and after-sales services under one structure. Its long-term strategy has consistently focused on representing premium brands while maintaining a strong in-house commercial and technical team.

Michael Schmidt, founder of YYachts, commented: “Marina Estrella brings extensive market knowledge and a well-established client network. With our design office in Palma, our new winter service base in Barcelona and now Marina Estrella’s nationwide coverage, we are ideally positioned to further strengthen our presence in Spain.”
