The superyacht marina Yacht Haven Grande on St. Thomas in the Caribbean has expanded its leisure and event facilities. In addition to a new sports and pool club, guests now have access to an enlarged event space overlooking the harbour
Marina operator IGY Marinas has opened the new Coral Cove Racquet and Pool Club at Yacht Haven Grande on the US Virgin Island of St. Thomas. The facility is within walking distance of the historic centre of Charlotte Amalie and caters to both local residents and visitors to the island.
The club features tennis, pickleball and padel courts, a pro shop and a resort-style swimming pool. The facilities are open to members and guests. A series of opening events is planned throughout November.
Alongside the club’s opening, the expansion of the event space in the Harbor360 building has also been completed. Located in the centre of the superyacht marina, the building now features an additional 2,100 m² upper floor offering 360-degree views of the harbour.
Facilities include a catering kitchen, a spacious dining area and a dance floor. The venue is designed to accommodate private celebrations, weddings and corporate events.
“Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where locals and guests can enjoy recreational activities and host events overlooking the island’s beautiful landscape,” says Charlie Irons, General Manager at IGY Marinas.
With the new facilities, IGY Marinas is expanding Yacht Haven Grande’s offering beyond traditional marina services. According to the company, the marina has been named Superyacht Marina of the Year four times.
