Heesen Yachts has launched the 57 m full-custom motor yacht “Project Setteesettanta” at its shipyard in Oss, the Netherlands.
Built entirely in aluminium, the 920 GT yacht was commissioned by experienced owners returning to the Dutch yard for their second Heesen.
Designed as a platform for spending time at sea with family and friends, the yacht reflects the owners’ individual requirements. These include a shallow draft of just 2.3 m for access to secluded anchorages, generous outdoor living areas and the ability to remain comfortably at anchor for extended periods.
The interior was designed by Cristiano Gatto, who also represented the owners throughout the construction process.
“To see this project finally afloat is deeply moving,” said Gatto. “Every element of her interior was conceived from scratch and refined down to the finest detail, with nothing left to chance. She has truly been a labour of love.”
The owners have reserved the entire upper deck for private use. The forward master suite offers 180-degree views and opens onto a private terrace of almost 200 m², which also serves as a touch-and-go helipad. A VIP cabin and gym are located on the main deck, while four further guest cabins are situated on the lower deck. An oval staircase connects all four decks, and the main-deck dining area opens directly onto the aft terrace through large sliding doors.
According to Heesen, YN 20857 is the first yacht in the yard’s fleet with the bridge positioned on the fourth deck. The arrangement creates an observation deck above the owners’ accommodation while maintaining a low-profile silhouette thanks to a lightweight mast designed by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects and flat Starlink panels replacing conventional satellite domes.
The hull was tested at the Wolfson Unit in Southampton, allowing the yacht to be powered by two MTU 16V2000M72 engines, each producing 1,440 kW. They provide a top speed of 18 knots and a transatlantic range of 3,900 nm at 12 knots. Quantum F45 stabilisers ensure comfort both underway and at anchor. The interior joinery, including marble personally selected by the owners in Verona, was produced entirely at Heesen’s interior facility in Winterswijk.

“Project Setteesettanta” will remain in Oss for systems commissioning before beginning sea trials in the North Sea later this summer. Delivery is scheduled for the end of December 2026.
