Damen Yachting has launched its first newbuild of 2026 at the Vlissingen City yard in the Netherlands. The yacht has now entered the final outfitting and sea trial phase ahead of delivery to her owner later this year.
The 60 m Amels features exterior design by Espen Øino, while the custom interior is by Winch Design. With this project, the British studio has now collaborated on 21 Amels superyachts, including four Amels 60 units. As part of the Amels Limited Editions concept, the owner’s team will work closely with the yard and the designer during the final stages to implement bespoke elements and individual preferences.
The yacht is equipped with an advanced hybrid propulsion system designed to enhance efficiency and reduce emissions.
“This latest launch and sale reflect the yachting market’s strong appetite for sustainable and versatile superyachts that combine proven pedigree with next-generation technology. The Amels 60 continues to offer a unique proposition for owners seeking customisation alongside the certainty of proven naval architecture, predictable delivery timelines and tested performance. Congratulations to all parties involved in achieving this significant milestone and the first launch of 2026. We look forward to working closely with the new owner’s team as we move towards final delivery,” said Rob Luijendijk, Commercial Director of Damen Yachting.
