Zeelander Yachts opens the year with two sales

Zeelander Yachts has entered 2026 with the sale of two Zeelander 5 yachts in January. The 14.7 m models are destined for Monaco and Istanbul.

Turkey has historically been a strong market for Zeelander. The new build heading to Istanbul therefore also marks a notable return of deliveries to the region.

Often described as a “superyacht in miniature”, the Zeelander 5 high-speed coupé is built to exacting standards. A nine-layer metallic paint finish, comprehensive sound insulation and generous interior volumes define the concept, while ride comfort remains composed even at higher speeds. The extended beach platform creates a waterside living area more commonly associated with significantly larger yachts.

Performance remains central to the model’s positioning. Owners can opt for twin or triple Volvo Penta IPS 650 drives, enabling precise joystick manoeuvring in confined spaces and top speeds of up to 40 knots. The refined hull form ensures a dry, stable ride and cruising comfort that belies the yacht’s performance capabilities.

With a range of approximately 450 nautical miles at cruising speed, the Zeelander 5 sets a benchmark in this size and speed category. Generous tank capacities support longer coastal passages and island crossings, as well as extended time on board with a high degree of autonomy.

Although positioned as a dayboat, the interior specification exceeds typical expectations in this segment. The deck saloon combines deep sofas with dining for four and offers near uninterrupted 360-degree views, achieved by eliminating traditional window mullions.

Below deck, gently curved stairs lead to two cabins. The owner’s suite features an athwartships bed positioned to maximise natural light through the hull windows, extensive storage and a dedicated dressing area. The forward guest cabin offers generous twin berths and access to a well-appointed bathroom with a separate shower.

With consistent interest since its introduction, the two recent sales provide a confident start to the year and reinforce Zeelander’s position in the niche between premium dayboats and compact superyachts, where design identity and engineering sophistication carry equal weight to size.

Momentum is set to continue with the upcoming launch of the second 24 m Zeelander 8 flagship, scheduled to enter the water in the coming weeks.
