Zeelander Yachts has announced the appointment of Floris Koopmans as its new Business Development Manager.
In his new role, Koopmans will focus on strengthening the company’s global commercial activities, supporting key stakeholders such as yacht owners and brokers, ensuring every interaction reflects the brand’s commitment to quality, and overseeing marketing initiatives. Koopmans has been with Zeelander Yachts since 2017, holding various positions in marketing, brand management, and sales.
This appointment underscores Zeelander Yachts’ dedication to delivering an exceptional experience for its clients. “Zeelander forges objects of desire. In my new role, I aim to gain a deeper understanding of our owners’ needs to ensure every yacht and experience is perfectly tailored to that desire,” said Floris Koopmans.

By joining the leadership team, Floris Koopmans will work alongside his father, Sietse Koopmans, the founder and chairman of Zeelander Yachts, to carry forward the family’s legacy.
