Sunreef and Brabus unveil high-performance catamaran

Sunreef Yachts and Brabus have unveiled the “Brabus Ultima 55”, the first model resulting from the companies’ exclusive luxury catamaran partnership.

Measuring 17 m in length, the new yacht combines the space and stability of a multihull with the performance and agility of a modern monohull.

Power comes from twin six-cylinder engines, each producing 533 kW (725 hp), enabling the yacht to reach speeds of more than 40 knots. An advanced hydrofoil system generates lift beneath the hulls, reducing hydrodynamic drag while minimising heel. According to the partners, this improves efficiency, stability and ride comfort, creating a smoother and more agile experience on the water.

The exterior features extensive carbon-fibre elements and a highly configurable layout. Folding platforms on either side of the aft deck increase the beam from 5.6 m to 7.6 m, creating a significantly larger outdoor living area.

Inside, the yacht features Brabus’ signature “Masterpiece” leather upholstery, carbon-fibre accents and premium wood veneers. The “Brabus Ultima 55” is available in two accommodation layouts. The standard configuration offers a master suite, a VIP cabin and a crew cabin for four guests and one crew member, while an alternative layout provides three guest cabins, accommodating up to six guests plus one crew member.

With the “Brabus Ultima 55”, Sunreef Yachts and Brabus combine high-performance engineering with luxury design, marking the beginning of their collaboration in the luxury catamaran segment.
