The 35th Monaco Yacht Show brought together 118 superyachts, including 50 delivered in 2026, and 560 exhibitors. Against a backdrop of limited build slots at leading shipyards, the event offered prospective owners an opportunity to view yachts available for purchase or charter
From 23 to 26 September 2026, the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) brought the superyacht industry together at Port Hercule. Held under the patronage of Prince Albert II of Monaco, who led the official visit, the show welcomed 30,678 visitors.
An industry in one harbour
According to a Deloitte study for SYBAss and the Superyacht Life Foundation, the superyacht industry generates €54 billion annually, covering activities from construction and maintenance to yacht management and tourism. The 560 exhibitors represented this value chain, including shipyards, designers, naval architects, equipment suppliers, brokers and specialist service providers.
The fleet comprised 118 superyachts with an estimated combined value of €4.5 billion and an average length of 47.5 metres. Of these, 50 had been delivered in 2026.
The concentration of yachts in one harbour was particularly relevant given current market conditions.
BOAT International’s Global Order Book 2026 records a decline in the number of projects under construction for the second consecutive year, while average length and GT have reached record levels. Build slots at leading yards are committed until 2028–2029.

The largest yacht on display, Oceanco’s 111-metre “Leviathan”, made her Monaco debut following delivery at the end of 2025. She was berthed alongside the 93-metre “Draak”, also built by Oceanco and extensively rebuilt in 2026 to support “Leviathan” on Inkfish’s scientific expeditions. Lürssen presented the 102.4-metre “Nixie” as a world premiere, the largest yacht delivered in 2026 to appear at the show.
Turquoise Yachts unveiled the 88-metre “Angelique”, described as the largest yacht built in Turkey by GT. Other premieres included the 80-metre “Pangea”, the first Amels 80 presented at a show; Sanlorenzo’s 73.4-metre “Silver Fox”, the yard’s largest yacht to date; ISA Yachts’ 66.4-metre “Sea Raider X”; Baglietto’s first T60, measuring 60.6 metres; and “Sairu”, the Riva 54 Metri and the largest Riva built to date.
Alongside the new deliveries, brokerage and charter companies presented a substantial proportion of the fleet. According to BOATPro, yacht sales exceeded €4 billion in the first half of 2026, compared with €3.61 billion in the same period a year earlier.
Connecting prospective clients with exhibitors was another focus of the show.
Exhibitors invited 13,368 private guests, including owners, prospective clients and their advisers and representatives.
The organisers also pre-qualified 648 visitors with yacht projects, offering invitations, MYS VIP Guest Passes or places in the Prestige VIP Programme. The latter supported 56 clients from around the world and arranged 85 yacht visits.
“My first Monaco Yacht Show at the helm confirmed what this event has to be: a marketplace for yacht projects, not a parade,” said Toby Moore, CEO of Informa Prestige. “All week, exhibitors spoke of a strong show, good quality conversations and serious buyers. Some come to step aboard a yacht for the first time or to see what is available for charter or purchase; others return for a final visit after months of preparation, and to seal their purchase in Monaco. Wherever they stand in that journey, the show is part of the sale. Our role remains to connect them with the right exhibitors, and every client, exhibitor and partner should hold us accountable for it.”
New formats on the quays
Introduced in 2026, the Designer Gallery replaced the Yacht Design & Innovation Hub with an exhibition space in the Dockside Area, partly located on the harbour’s rocks. It brought together 14 design and naval architecture studios, including Espen Oeino International, Frers Design, Philippe Briand, Pininfarina and VPLP Design.
Alongside the gallery, the MYS Immersive Experience by VBH enabled visitors to explore yacht projects in 3D.
The Adventure Area extended across three quays, including a new section near the Quai Antoine Ier entrance. It featured 72 tenders and the Top Marques Monaco Pavilion, dedicated to hypercars and luxury cars and developed in partnership with the Top Marques Monaco show.
Environmental awards
For the second edition of the Blue Wake Awards, an expert jury selected five category winners from 60 solutions independently assessed and validated by the Water Revolution Foundation.
Toby Moore presented the trophies on 23 September in the BOAT Lounge, alongside the foundation’s Executive Director, Leah Werner.
The winners were Tykun (Tenders/Water Toys), Bespoke Projects (Luxury Services & Products), Termodinamica (Nautical Supplier), Amico & Co (New Build/Refit Shipyard) and Marina Ibiza (Yacht Services/Brokerage/Charter).
The Blue Wake Special Prize for a Yacht went to Ares Yachts’ 62-metre “Simena”, the largest sailing yacht at the show, which combines a ketch rig with hybrid propulsion.
During his official visit, Prince Albert II received the show’s annual donation to the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation. This year’s contribution of €55,000 continued a partnership established in 2010.
Toby Moore and Stephen Carter, CEO of Informa Group, presented the cheque aboard “Dagger”, Benetti’s hybrid B.Now 67M. During the event, the yacht also received certification under the SEA Index, the Yacht Club de Monaco’s scheme for assessing and comparing yachts’ CO₂ emissions.
Looking ahead to 2027
Refit was also represented at the show: 15 of the yachts on display had undergone refits within the previous three years.
With limited near-term build slots at leading yards, upgrading an existing yacht offers owners an alternative to commissioning a newbuild.
According to the organisers, the refit market is estimated to be worth between US$3 billion and US$5 billion annually, with annual growth of 6–9%. Informa Prestige will launch The Future of Refit at the Grimaldi Forum from 31 March to 2 April 2027. Billed as the first event dedicated exclusively to superyacht refit and maintenance, it will include an on-water display in the Yacht Club de Monaco marina.
The MYS also hosted the signing of an agreement between Tahaluf and Sela to organise the Red Sea Yacht Show, in the presence of Prince Albert II.
The new event, developed with the Monaco Yacht Show and supported by BOAT International, is scheduled to take place at Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina from 14 to 17 October 2027.
The 36th Monaco Yacht Show will take place at Port Hercule from 22 to 25 September 2027.
