Following the success of its pilot edition in 2025, which highlighted 59 environmental improvement solutions, the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) has opened applications for exhibitors to participate in the Blue Wake Programme 2026. The initiative aims to identify and showcase solutions that contribute to measurable environmental progress in the yachting sector.

Building on last year’s pilot, the updated framework requires participating companies to outline their environmental focus and provide supporting evidence. Developed in partnership with the Water Revolution Foundation, the programme has also broadened its scope to include brokerage and yacht management companies. This reflects the growing importance of sustainability across the entire lifecycle of a yacht and underlines the industry’s commitment to structural environmental priorities.

“Blue Wake represents a pivotal moment for the Monaco Yacht Show, as we continue to evolve into a platform where technical transparency and environmental sustainability redefine industry standards,” said Toby Moore, CEO of Informa Prestige. “By introducing a rigorous, evidence-based framework, we enable exhibitors to demonstrate their operational progress with credibility. Expanding the programme to include brokerage and yacht management companies acknowledges that environmental improvements can be achieved at different stages of a yacht’s lifecycle.”

Leah Werner, Executive Director of the Water Revolution Foundation, emphasised the role of standardisation in advancing sustainability efforts: “Blue Wake 2026 marks an important milestone in embedding common standards that allow exhibitors and the wider yachting industry to progress together. Building on the foundations laid last year, the updated framework offers a structured approach for presenting environmental initiatives supported by available evidence.”

Applications can be submitted via the dedicated module in the MYS Exhibitor Zone. All submissions will be assessed by the Water Revolution Foundation based on the Blue Wake framework and the evidence provided. The deadline for applications is 1 July 2026.
