Dutch shipbuilder Heesen Yachts has delivered the 55 m motor yacht “Pa’lante” (YN 21055) to her owners. Following successful sea trials in the North Sea, the yacht has departed the Netherlands for her shakedown cruise.
Later this summer, she will embark on her maiden voyage in the Mediterranean before making her official debut at the Monaco Yacht Show from 23 to 26 September.
Designed by Omega Architects on the exterior and Luca Dini on the interior, “Pa’lante” is part of Heesen’s 55 m steel series and has been conceived for long-range cruising. According to the shipyard, her optimised steel hull offers a range of 4,500 nautical miles at 11 knots.
With an internal volume of around 760 GT, a beam of 9.6 m and a draught of 2.7 m, the yacht combines the capabilities required for transoceanic voyages with dimensions that allow access to smaller Mediterranean ports.
The delivery of “Pa’lante” also highlights Heesen’s strategy of building yachts on speculation. The shipyard follows a smart custom approach, continuously refining its proven platforms using operational data from across the fleet while tailoring each yacht to the individual requirements of its owners. As a result, no two yachts in the 55 m steel class are identical.
“A successful speculative build programme requires absolute confidence in naval architecture and engineering, disciplines we maintain entirely in-house,” says Jeroen van der Meer, CEO of Heesen Yachts. By continuously refining the platform, the shipyard is able to optimise efficiency and reliability while reducing delivery times.
“Pa’lante” is the first yacht delivered by Heesen in 2026.
