Galeon has expanded its flybridge range with the new 420 FLY. The 42 ft yacht features fold-down balconies, a two-cabin layout and a choice of sterndrive or shaft-drive propulsion.

Polish yacht builder Galeon has introduced the new 420 FLY, expanding its flybridge range with a model that combines updated styling, revised layouts and a choice of sterndrive or shaft-drive propulsion.

Developed from the Galeon 400 FLY, the new yacht retains compact overall dimensions while introducing a redesigned exterior with larger hull-side windows and increased glazing. According to the builder, the changes improve natural light below deck while giving the yacht a more modern appearance.

More outdoor living space

A key feature of the Galeon 420 FLY is its focus on outdoor living. The aft cockpit features an L-shaped seating area with a folding table and wet bar, while fold-down side balconies increase the beam to 5.90 m when deployed. Together with the enlarged bathing platform, they create additional deck space close to the water.

Forward, the bow is equipped with large sun pads, while the flybridge offers a second social area with seating, dining table, grill, wet bar and an upper helm station.

Two-cabin layout

The main deck combines the saloon, galley and helm station in a single open-plan layout. A C-shaped seating area to starboard serves as both dining and lounge space, complemented by additional seating opposite.

Below deck, the yacht offers accommodation in two en-suite cabins. The full-beam owner’s cabin is located amidships and features a king-size bed and increased headroom. A VIP cabin in the bow provides accommodation for guests.

Choice of propulsion

The Galeon 420 FLY will be available with either DPI sterndrives or conventional shaft drives, allowing owners to choose a propulsion system suited to their cruising areas and operating preferences.

Maximum installed power is up to 2 × 353 kW (480 hp), providing performance suitable for coastal cruising and longer passages.
