Denison Yachting has appointed Steven Chapman as Vice President of Marketing. The appointment is intended to support the company’s strategic growth, innovation agenda, and brand positioning in the international yachting market.
In his new role, Chapman will be responsible for further developing Denison Yachting’s marketing strategy, strengthening the use of technology and data across the organisation, and ensuring that marketing activities align with the company’s long-term growth objectives and market presence.
Chapman brings extensive experience in luxury marketing, sales, and technology-driven business models. A Florida native with a lifelong connection to boating, he previously served as President of the family-owned business duPont REGISTRY. During his tenure, he oversaw the transformation of the brand from a traditional print publication into an international, technology-led luxury marketplace and full-service marketing agency, achieving significant commercial growth prior to its acquisition.
He is known for a pragmatic, hands-on leadership style shaped by years of building and managing competitive luxury businesses. Chapman has cited Denison Yachting’s corporate culture, long-standing relationships, and established industry reputation as key reasons for joining the company.
Bob Denison, President of Denison Yachting, said Chapman joins an experienced marketing and web team, a strong leadership group, and a global network of leading yacht brokers. His focus on execution, technology, and data is expected to further strengthen the company’s marketing activities and support sustainable long-term growth.
Denison Yachting traces its family history back to 1948 and the founding of Broward Marine in Fort Lauderdale. Today, the company provides a full range of yachting services worldwide, including superyacht sales, yacht charter, yacht management, crew placement, and new-build projects. Denison Yachting operates from more than 23 waterfront offices and employs over 180 licensed and bonded yacht brokers.
