Damen Yachting has announced the launch of the second Amels 80 at its hull building facility in Galati, Romania. This new generation superyacht is scheduled for delivery to her owner in 2026.
Measuring 80 metres (261 feet) in length, this Amels 80 represents the next generation of the Amels Limited Editions, featuring an exterior design by Espen Øino and an interior by Sinot.
Damen Yachting’s Commercial Executive, Jan van Hogerwou, who was involved in the sale of this Amels 80 end 2022, commented on the launch, “The second Amels 80 launch signifies another step forward in realising this seasoned owner’s dream and underlines the success of this Limited Editions Series.”
Delivery of the new Damen-yacht is planned for 2026
As the second Amels 80 makes her way to the Netherlands, the anticipation builds for her final outfitting and subsequent delivery in 2026, adhering to Damen Yachting’s commitment to fast delivery.
Damen Yachting’s Project Manager Stefan Regtvoort comments on what this important milestone means for him and everyone at the yard: “Seeing her out in the water for the first time is truly a remarkable moment.
