Thomas Wieringa has been appointed as the new Marketing Director of Damen Yachting[ds_preview].
His appointment is “in line with the company’s vision for the continued growth and development of the luxury superyacht portfolio and brand offering,” the company said.
Thomas Wieringa comes from the superyacht sector and brings new aspects to the Dutch company, which is known for its Amels luxury superyachts, SeaXplorer luxury expedition yachts and yacht support boats.
“My experience beyond the superyacht sector creates a unique starting point to take Damen Yachting to the next level together. This is a great opportunity to position and bring our brands to life and position our corporate brand in the global yachting industry. To increase our market growth, we will continue to build on a strong luxury portfolio while innovating to break new ground in the market,” says Thomas Wieringa.
