Alia Yachts has launched the 45m motor yacht “Genie Blu”, a fully custom project built at the yard’s facilities in Antalya.
With her sleek profile and design centred on openness and a close connection to the sea, the yacht takes a deliberately unconventional approach to space and onboard living.
“Genie Blu” features a long, low silhouette, floor-to-ceiling glazing and fold-down side terraces that expand the usable deck areas. The exterior was refined by Alia Yachts’ in-house design team together with Luca Dini Design & Architecture, which also developed the interior design.
The yacht’s layout is centred around openness and natural light. In the main saloon, floor-to-ceiling windows and an open-plan arrangement create uninterrupted views of the surroundings. The interior follows a restrained, contemporary design language with neutral colours and clean lines.
Outdoor spaces have been designed with the same philosophy. Raised seating in the cockpit leads down via broad steps to the swim platform, creating a seamless connection with the water. Additional lounge areas are located on the foredeck, while a discreet sunpad crowns the superstructure.
“Genie Blu turns traditional ideas of yacht design on their head,” said Gökhan Çelik, President of Alia Yachts. Rather than maximising interior volume, the project focuses on proportions and the owner’s experience at sea.
Designer Luca Dini described the yacht as “a project based on subtraction rather than addition”. The aim had not been to maximise gross tonnage, but to enhance the owner’s connection to the marine environment.
With her distinctive silhouette and emphasis on openness, “Genie Blu” is the latest addition to the Alia Yachts fleet and another example of the Turkish shipyard’s custom-build capabilities.
