Schaffran

Built by Sunreef Yachts Founder and President Francis Lapp, the catamaran “Marie-Joseph” is now available for sale.

According to the yacht builder, the Sunreef 80 Eco is an ultramodern electric sailing yacht that combines cutting-edge green technology with supreme comfort. It is equipped with electric engines and a proprietary solar skin system.

“’Marie-Joseph’ is a yacht I built as a tribute to my parents. After enjoying countless wonderful moments on board in some of the world’s most beautiful destinations, the time has come to embark on a new yacht-building project. This Sunreef 80 Eco benefits from all our R&D expertise as a shipyard and is the ultimate expression of sustainable yachting,” said Francis Lapp, Sunreef Yachts Founder and President.

“Maria-Jospeh” accommodates up to eight persons

Under sail, the yacht harnesses energy through hydro-generation. Equipped with lightweight, high-efficiency batteries and the most advanced air conditioning system in the marine industry, “Marie-Joseph” sets new standards in energy efficiency. The yacht has demonstrated its capabilities by cruising in all conditions while maintaining impeccable upkeep.

Accommodating up to eight guests, the Sunreef 80 Eco “Marie-Joseph” features a contemporary interior and offers generous superyacht living space. Her alfresco lounging areas include an expansive flybridge and a full-beam aft cockpit, ideal for watersports and ocean-view dining.

This sale presents a unique opportunity to own a piece of yachting history—a vessel that has not only revolutionized sustainable sailing but has also been the personal yacht of Sunreef’s visionary founder, Francis Lapp.
