X-Linea: New 80 m yacht platform focuses on linear design

Pastrovich Studio has unveiled X-Linea, a new yacht platform for the 70 m to 80 m segment.

The concept, developed by Italian designer Stefano Pastrovich, follows a linear design language based on a single continuous curve running uninterrupted from bow to stern. Inside, four colours and materials dominate the design, each intended to evoke specific emotions. According to the studio, these elements were selected not primarily for compositional reasons, but for their emotional impact. Each is said to represent a memory, an emotion or a particular sense of certainty.

The concept includes pink as a symbol of childhood dreams, gloss white as a timeless design element, and navy blue, intended to convey a sense of depth. The interior is complemented by light teak wood. According to the studio, this is one of the few materials that requires no explanation, as it creates an immediate physical response before the mind begins to process it.

“These four elements are not a colour scheme. They are an emotional grammar. And like every good grammar, their value lies not in the individual words, but in the way they work together.”

The X-Linea platform is designed in two variants with lengths of 70.0 m and 80.0 m respectively. Beam ranges from 11.2 m to 12.2 m, while draught is specified at between 3.1 m and 3.5 m. Gross tonnage is given as 1,200 GT to 1,700 GT. Maximum speed is expected to reach 18 kn, with a cruising speed of 14 kn.
