The Turkish builder VisionF Yachts has successfully completed the first sea trial of its new flagship, the 30.7 m VisionF 101, marking a key milestone for the yard.
During trials in Tuzla Bay, the aluminium power catamaran exceeded speeds of 20 knots. According to the yard, all onboard systems operated reliably in Sea State 4, with north-easterly winds of around 10 knots and low ambient and sea temperatures. The tests were carried out under realistic load conditions, with fresh water tanks at 75% capacity and black and grey water tanks fully loaded.
Based on trial data, the yacht demonstrated a range of more than 4,000 nautical miles, positioning her as a capable long-range platform for extended cruising.
The VisionF 101 is described as the world’s first 101-foot catamaran with commercial classification from RINA. The vessel is constructed in aluminium and features a custom carbon-fibre hardtop to reduce weight and enhance structural performance.
Propulsion is provided by four Volvo Penta D13 IPS 1350 units, combining high output with precise manoeuvrability.
With a 132 sqm flybridge, a 103 sqm main saloon and five guest cabins – including a 30 sqm master suite – the yacht represents the largest and most luxurious project delivered by the yard to date. Thanks to her shallow draft, she is suited both to coastal cruising and access to secluded bays.
Final outfitting works are scheduled for completion within the next two months, with delivery to the owner to follow shortly thereafter.
