Italian shipyard Tankoa Yachts has celebrated another milestone in the construction of its latest superyacht project. The traditional coin ceremony for the 61 m “Project Dream” took place on 4 June 2026 at the yard’s facility in Civitavecchia.
The full-custom motor yacht was sold in summer 2025 and is scheduled for delivery in early 2029. The project combines the concept, layout and exterior design by Horacio Bozzo Design with naval architecture and basic engineering developed by Axis Group Yacht Design. The yacht marks the first collaboration between Horacio Bozzo Design and Tankoa Yachts. The interiors have been designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, selected by the owner.
At 61 m in length, “Project Dream” is positioned between traditional 60 m and 70 m platforms. According to the shipyard, the yacht is intended to offer the volume and presence of a significantly larger vessel while retaining the flexibility and efficiency of a 60 m hull.
The design places a strong emphasis on a close connection to the sea and an outdoor-oriented lifestyle. A key feature is the large beach club, which opens directly onto the water through three fold-down platforms. The area is connected to a wellness centre comprising a gym, sauna and massage and beauty facilities.
The layout has been developed to create seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces. The owner’s private apartment is located on the upper deck and includes a forward terrace with a private swimming pool. Additional guest accommodation is situated on the main deck.
The spacious sun deck serves as the yacht’s principal social area and features a second pool. A third pool is located aft on the bridge deck, which also accommodates a cinema lounge designed for open-air movie screenings.
With the coin ceremony completed, another important construction milestone has been reached and work on the yacht will continue according to schedule.
