At the Superyacht Yard in Ancona, the fifth Pershing 140 has been launched. Built in aluminium, the superyacht measures 43.3 m in length with a beam of 8.55 m.
The Pershing 140 is the result of a collaboration between yacht designer Fulvio De Simoni, the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee chaired by Piero Ferrari, and the Group’s engineering department. The yacht was built at the Ferretti Group’s Superyacht Yard in Ancona, which specialises in the construction of steel and aluminium superyachts and megayachts exceeding 40 m in length.
From a technical perspective, the yacht is powered by four MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines, each delivering 2,600 hp and paired with waterjet propulsion. According to the builder, this enables a top speed of 35 knots and a cruising speed of 30 knots.
Featuring two main decks and a spacious sundeck, the yacht’s sleek profile and flowing lines reflect the sporty design language of the Pershing brand. Unlike previous units, which were delivered in aluminium grey, this yacht was finished in white at the owner’s request.
The interior layout was also customised to meet the owner’s requirements, particularly in the aft beach area. The space, typically used as a garage, has been transformed into a social hub featuring a fully equipped central bar in place of the usual tender and water sports equipment storage.
The lower deck accommodates four guest cabins, all with en-suite bathrooms and showers. At the owner’s request, Pullman berths were added to increase guest capacity. Two cabins can now accommodate up to three guests each, while the two VIP cabins feature double beds, one of which can be converted into twin beds.
