Turkish yacht builder Numarine has delivered the first unit of its new 27XP explorer yacht, marking the latest expansion of its long-range XP series.
The model was unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival last year and has already attracted strong market interest. According to the shipyard, five units have been sold so far, with three currently under construction. The second and third yachts are scheduled for delivery in the coming months.
The owner of the first 27XP is a returning Numarine client upgrading from a 22XP. The yacht was delivered in Istanbul and is expected to cruise primarily in the Greek islands and the wider Aegean region.
The new model is a further development of the 26XP platform, of which Numarine says around 30 units are currently in operation worldwide. The 27XP was developed based on feedback from owners and captains, with the aim of increasing onboard volume, outdoor living space and operational functionality while retaining the core characteristics of the XP range.
The first yacht has been delivered in a four-cabin configuration, prioritising a full-beam flybridge and enlarged exterior areas. A five-cabin version is also available.
The yacht’s exterior and interior design comes from Can Yalman, while naval architecture was developed by Umberto Tagliavini. Large window areas are intended to maximise natural light, while a sliding glass door between the main salon and cockpit is designed to create a more open layout. Numarine says the flybridge is among the largest in this size segment.
The 27XP is also the first Numarine model to feature the yard’s new Mk2 Super Silent Pack, developed with Sleipner. The system is based on a 48-volt energy architecture with an integrated Hybrid Power Center, combining a 92.8 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery bank, 5.6 kW of solar generation, shore power connectivity and energy management systems.
Propulsion is provided by twin MAN engines rated at 560 hp each. According to the shipyard, the yacht reaches a top speed of 13.5 knots, cruises at 10 knots and offers a range of 2,200 nautical miles at eight knots.
“The delivery of the first 27XP demonstrates how strongly the market has responded to this new model,” said Patrik von Sydow, CEO of Numarine. “Five hulls sold before the first launch speaks for itself.”
The 27XP is scheduled to make its public debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 in September.
