Grand Soleil launches first Plus 80 Long Cruise flagship

Cantiere del Pardo has launched the first Grand Soleil Plus 80 Long Cruise at its dedicated Plus yard in Fano. The 26.2 m yacht entered the water in the presence of her owner and family, marking a milestone for the Italian shipyard and bringing delivery a step closer.

As the new flagship of the Plus line and the largest yacht ever built under the Grand Soleil brand, the GS Plus 80 LC combines performance sailing with long-range cruising capability. The concept was developed by Cantiere del Pardo, with hull design by Matteo Polli.

The yacht is aimed at a broad client base. Owners can opt for a telescopic keel version focused on cruising comfort or choose a performance-oriented configuration with a fixed keel and different draft options. In both cases, the design promises dynamic sailing characteristics combined with the amenities required for extended time on board.

A fine bow entry is intended to ensure good seakeeping, while the wide stern provides stability and generous deck space. The first unit features twin rudders and a telescopic keel, allowing the draft to be reduced from 4.8 m to 2.8 m, enabling access to shallow anchorages and harbours.
