Damen Yachting has recently sold its very latest Amels 60, with delivery to the owner scheduled for spring 2025.
As announced by the Dutch shipyard, the owner was represented in the sale by Rory and Sean Moran from Moran Yacht & Ship. They will also oversee the final stages of the yacht’s outfitting and manage its charter schedule post-delivery.
The Amels 60, featuring hybrid power and propulsion technology, boasts an exterior design by Espen Øino, including the signature geometric window styling. Staying true to the Amels Limited Editions concept, this latest Amels 60 incorporates design features that have evolved throughout the series’ development, such as the extended Sun Deck—a feature first introduced on hull number two, which was also sold and managed by Moran Yacht & Ship.
Tailor-made interiors for the Amels 60
What makes this Amels 60 truly unique are its custom interiors, designed by Harrison Eidsgaard. This marks the first collaboration between the London-based studio and Amels. The result is a contemporary yet welcoming style, offering a refined interpretation of beach house luxury. Natural materials and intricate detailing create a warm, tactile finish that sets this yacht apart.
Rose Damen, Managing Director of Damen Yachting, was actively involved with the client throughout the sales process. “We are a family business, so welcoming new families to Amels is something I take particular pride in. Working with this family has been an absolute privilege, and I am delighted to have played a part in helping them realize their dream of traveling the world together on board,” she said.
Damen Yachting states that the Amels 60 continues the successful legacy of Amels Limited Editions. First introduced to the industry in August 2019, the 60-metre design represents the next generation of the Limited Editions series, originally launched in 2005. To date, seven Amels 60 yachts have been sold, with six already delivered for private and charter use.
