The Italian shipyard group Fincantieri has handed over the ultra-luxurious cruise yacht “Four Seasons I” to Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings.
The ship was completed at the shipyard in Ancona and is the first new construction project of the Four Seasons Yachts brand. The maiden voyage is scheduled for March in the Mediterranean.
The order for the unit was placed in July 2022, with two more ships following in June 2023. The second unit is scheduled for delivery in 2027, while a third ship is expected in 2030.
According to the shipyard, “Four Seasons I” is the world’s first intelligent ultra-luxury ship as part of the “Navis Sapiens” program. The platform was developed by Fincantieri Ingenium, a joint venture between Fincantieri NexTech and Accenture. The system uses artificial intelligence and real-time data to improve safety, efficiency and lifecycle management. Thanks to an open, scalable architecture, additional technologies can be integrated in the future without compromising the guest experience on board.
“Today, we are not just delivering a ship, but a new paradigm for the hospitality sector. “Four Seasons I” is the first Navis Sapiens – a ship with digital intelligence that can learn and evolve,” explained Fincantieri CEO Pierroberto Folgiero.
The ship, which sails under the Italian flag, has a tonnage of 35,070 GT, is 207 m long and 27 m wide. It offers space for 222 guests in 95 suites in the style of private yacht residences. The so-called “Funnel Suite” with 457 m² of indoor and outdoor space is particularly exclusive.
