The contract is worth over €400 million and the ship is due to be delivered in 2026 – subject to the condition that the shipowner obtains “market-rate financing”, according to a statement.
The state-owned shipyard group was awarded the contract for the first unit of the class in 2022, which is scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Larry Pimentel, President and CEO of Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings, called the contract “another milestone in the development of Four Seasons Yachts.” The aim is to offer a “first-class luxury lifestyle yacht experience”.
Fincantieri sees recovery in order situation
For Pierroberto Folgiero, CEO of Fincantieri, the confirmation of the confidence of a brand like Four Seasons is “a great satisfaction”. The order is “also proof of the incipient recovery of the order situation in this sector” and at the same time “strengthens the shipbuilder’s leading position in the new luxury segment, which focuses on haute hôtellerie.”
