With a keen eye on the growing luxury yacht market, Winkels Interior Design Exhibition has launched a dedicated division, Winkels Yacht Interior, to expand its presence and influence in the yachting sector. To lead this initiative, the Kleve-based company has appointed Clarissa Androsoni as their new Business Development Director as of October 1.
With Clarissa Androsoni, Winkels Interior has brought an experienced industry expert into the company. Androsoni’s career in the shipbuilding industry began with Fincantieri after completing her studies in design and architecture, followed by a master’s in management from the University of Salford. She initially worked in the Mega Yacht and Cabin Units in La Spezia and Trieste, specializing in high-quality outfitting for luxury interiors.
After Fincantieri, she advanced to Marine Interiors up to the role of Head of Operational Planning, overseeing projects for renowned clients like Ponant and Hapag-Lloyd. In this role, she planned and managed the interiors of new builds constructed at Fincantieri Vard facilities in Norway and Romania.
In 2018, she relocated to Hamburg, where she continued her career as a Project Manager at Carnival Maritime. There, she was responsible for refitting and special projects for the AIDA fleet.
Androsoni’s Masterpiece
Following a position at the Nobiskrug shipyard, she advanced her career at MVS Interiors as a Senior Project Manager. Responsible for outfitting megayachts, she worked on what she considers one of her proudest accomplishments: outfitting the Lürssen-superyacht “Kismet.”
Following the concept by the studio Reymond Langton Design, Clarissa Androsoni and her team executed the creation of seven luxurious cabins, the guest cabins corridor, and the engine room corridor. What made this project unique was the design studio’s uncompromising standard, demanding that every detail align precisely with the initial renderings.
Among the more than 200 materials utilized, each was meticulously selected to ensure fidelity to the original design vision. Even the veining of the marble in the cabins was matched exactly as illustrated in the drawings. “We did it,” Androsoni reflects with pride. Pascale Reymond, co-founder and managing director of Reymond Langton Design, echoed this sentiment, describing the project as the ultimate expression of artistic precision and sharing her satisfaction with the final result.
Since October, Androsoni has been applying her extensive experience from the superyacht and cruise ship sectors at Winkels Interior Design Exhibition. Headquartered in Kleve, Winkels brings together quality craftsmanship and sustainable solutions to meet the diverse demands of clients across sectors, from exhibition stands to showrooms, retail spaces, offices, museums, and luxury residences.
Founded in 1962, the company has realized numerous yacht interior projects over its long history. Now, the yacht segment is further strengthened by Clarissa Androsoni as Business Development Director. Together with Managing Director Manfred Holtmann, she is responsible for client acquisition, market expansion, and strategic partnerships, reinforcing Winkels’ commitment to excellence and growth in the luxury yacht interior sector.
