“Wallywind110” makes debut in Monaco

Tesvolt

The Monaco Yacht Show takes place from 25 to 28 September. The new sailing yacht “Wallywind110” will be there for the first time.

According to the company, the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show has several important meanings: The boat will be presented in the year of the brand’s 30th anniversary and is also the first boat in the Wallywind Performance Cruiser series, which will also include the “Wallywind130” and the “Wallywind150”.

The project for this first semi-custom sail model since Wally became part of the Ferretti Group began in 2022. It was launched in June. Additionally, the second “Wallywind110” is already under construction.

The all-carbon, laminated hull will be presented at the Monaco Yacht Show with its bright metallic paint finish with blue reflections, which subtly shifts tone as the light changes. The boat features a 6.95m telescopic keel, carbon fibre twin rudders and a towering 48m Hall Spars rig.

Wally and Santa Maria Magnolfi collaborates on this project

The “Wallywind110” showcases all the “distinctive features of Wally’s timeless style, combining comfort and performance,” the company says. The naval architecture by judel/vrolijk & co perfectly integrates with the interior and exterior design, resulting from the know-how of Wally’s design team led by Luca Bassani in collaboration with the Santa Maria Magnolfi studio.

According to Wally one of the most impressive features of the “Wallywind110” is the exterior design, especially the cockpit dimensions, comparable to those of the most modern 60m sailing superyacht. Guests can relax on several sofas, sunbeds, and seating, enjoying the 80 square meters of the cockpit, completely free of technical equipment. An additional lounge is located on the “sea terrace” and another one on the foredeck.

The careful planning of space is evident below deck, where the engine room’s placement below the saloon has allowed for the creation of an open, light-filled interior. Natural light streams in through the hull windows, deckhouse windows and skylight, illuminating the dining area, the lounge and even the office.
