The “Wally Power 50”: building a bridge between two key ranges

Tesvolt

With the “Wally Power 50”, Luca Bassani’s Wally design team, in collaboration with the Ferretti Group Engineering team, has created a model that connects two essential ranges within Wally’s powerboat lineup, blending present trends with future-forward design.

Spanning the arc between the wallytender range and the Wally Power 58″, the “Wally Power 50” is so flexible and adaptable that it can serve as anything from chaseboat to tender to day-cruiser to luxury weekender to high-octane thrill-ride.

The “Wally Power 50” represents a fusion of design, engineering, and build quality, harmoniously combining the distinctive features of two different Wally ranges.
The yacht is not only a symbol of Wally’s style and innovation but also the result of the Ferretti Group’s manufacturing strength and reliability, continuing to set the standard for excellence in the yachting world.

Multiple profiles with model looks

The “Wally Power 50” combines the more open design of the wallytenders with the sportiness of the “Wally Power 58”. Her extensive list of options allows to define the yacht to meet specific needs.

At Wally, design has always been the cornerstone of everything created. The yacht is an example of how form and function can come together, creating sleek lines that not only preserve performance but enhance it.
Delving into the details of the yacht, the distinctive features of Wally emerge, such as the signature windshield design and the option to integrate the Magic Portholes below deck.

Deck divine and interior iconic

Central to the onboard experience is the balance between rugged practicality and functionality. The yacht boasts all the open space of her smaller cousins, which lends herself to working tender operational parameters, but adds touches that speak to her standalone capabilities too. There are two sunbeds aft instead of one, with a generous walkway between them offering easy boarding and disembarkation; moreover, drop-down aft bulwarks extend the aft deck space by five square metres, creating a luxurious area for enjoying the sea or enjoying a sundowner or two with family and friends.

Forward of the sunbeds, nestling under the protection of the angular cockpit structure yet still delivering an alfresco feel, is the cockpit saloon. A dining table with banquettes and further bench seating comfortably accommodates eight guests. Of course, there is also a foredeck sunpad with adjustable headrests, ideal for soaking up some rays at anchor or away from prying eyes when moored stern-to; there is also easy access to the hidden anchoring system, which itself is not only a neat design trick but also means even the foredeck is clutter free.

The helm is offering all controls to hand and access to all operating and systems data as well as a comprehensive navcomms suite with two large MFDs screens. It is ideally located for all-round visibility – particularly pertinent when riding the yacht to her higher performance limits.

Below, the yacht reveals her power roots, with not only a full head and shower but a welcoming space. A large forward double bed in the bow, a cosy saloon area and kitchenette galley, all finished to the highest standards, mean the yacht can just as easily be a pied-a-terre wherever one wishes to go.

A life at full speed

The yacht doesn’t just encompass flexibility, she also offers a bridge into the rarefied world of performance boating.

The yacht has twin Volvo Penta IPS650s propulsion that offer a 30-knot cruise and a top speed of 36 knots, all the while combining performance with easy handling thanks to a perfect hull, and joystick control with optional DPS for close-quarters situations. The optional Volvo Penta Assisted Docking system simplifies port maneuvers by automatically compensating for external forces like wind, waves, and currents, ensuring greater control and precision. It is not an autonomous docking system, but a hybrid solution that assists the captain via a joystick and advanced software, integrated with onboard electronics and GPS.

The yacht draws on a deep-V hull to offer stability at speed and the ability to cruise faster even in bigger seas, meaning more scope to enjoy everything it offers in more conditions.
