Polish yacht builder Sunreef Yachts has been honoured with the German Innovation Award 2025. The company received the award for its Sunreef 43M Eco yacht model.

This model is a catamaran, with three units already on order according to the company, and construction is reportedly well underway.

The German Innovation Award recognises groundbreaking and environmentally friendly solutions.

The Sunreef 43M Eco will be equipped with around 250 m² of solar panels, more than 120 m² of which are seamlessly integrated into the yacht’s structure. Combined with a state-of-the-art electric propulsion system, this setup is set to redefine the superyacht experience – with minimal environmental impact.

To further enhance energy autonomy, the yacht is fitted with a hydrogen generation system, enabling it to harness clean energy while under sail. It will also be powered by next-generation 1 MWh battery packs, delivering unmatched efficiency and range for silent, emission-free cruising, according to Sunreef.
