Dubai-based shipyard Romeo Marine is making its mark in the superyacht sector. At this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, the company celebrated its international debut with the unveiling of the 55-metre “Romeo 55”.
With more than 40 years of experience in interior design and craftsmanship, Romeo Marine emerges as a new player in the industry. The shipyard was founded as a natural evolution of Romeo Interiors, a long-established design and interiors company in Dubai.
Presented in Monaco, the “Romeo 55” has been developed in collaboration with Pulina Exclusive Interiors. The interior is described as luminous and refined, designed for a full 360-degree onboard experience.
The yacht offers six cabins accommodating up to twelve guests. The centrepiece is a spectacular owner’s suite with double-volume height, a glass ceiling, and a panoramic lift. Other highlights include floor-to-ceiling windows framing sea views, a sculptural spiral staircase, and a spacious sundeck featuring a pool, bar, and BBQ area.
Romeo Marine seeks to establish Dubai’s role in the global superyacht industry
“The launch of the “Romeo 55” marks not only a milestone for our shipyard, but also a defining moment for Dubai’s role in the global superyacht industry,” said Nader Nashed, CEO of Romeo Marine. “Our vision is to establish Dubai as a recognised hub for world-class yacht construction – blending traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation.”
Currently undergoing sea trials in Dubai, the “Romeo 55” is scheduled for delivery to her owner in Q1 2026. In parallel, the shipyard has already started construction of its next project, the “Romeo 60”.
