The Polish Conrad Shipyard has delivered the “Moonlight”, the third superyacht in its C144s series. The 44.5-meter yacht marks the shipyard’s further foray into the superyacht segment.

Yacht shipbuilding is gaining momentum in Poland. Conrad Shipyard, based in Gdańsk, is one of the shipyards building larger yachts from 40 to 100 meters in length.

While the shipyard, which was founded in 2003, mainly built sailing yachts and smaller motor yachts for many years, it is now pushing into the superyacht segment with its new C144s series. The first ship in this series, the “Ace”, was delivered in 2022, followed by the “Extra Time” in 2024. Conrad Shipyard has now handed over the third ship in this series, the “Moonlight”.

According to the shipyard, the 44.5-metre yacht was delivered following its launch and the successful completion of sea trials. The owner had commissioned the ship via the superyacht brokerage Y.CO.

Several well-known companies were involved in the project. Reymond Langton Design was responsible for the exterior, Nauta designed the interior and exterior areas, while Diana Yacht Design was responsible for the ship design.

Superyacht offers space for up to ten guests

The “Moonlight” can accommodate up to ten guests in five cabins. The ship also offers accommodation for a crew of nine. According to the shipyard, the yacht is designed for both relaxation and entertainment and features a spacious beach club, several lounge areas, a pool with panoramic views, two outdoor dining areas, two fully equipped bars and an open-air cinema. The garage has space for a 6.3 m dinghy, two jet skis and several Seabobs.

Powered by two Caterpillar engines, the “Moonlight” reaches a top speed of 14.3 knots and cruises at an economical 11 knots. With a range of 4,500 nm at 10 knots, the yacht is suitable for long-distance cruising. It has also been designed to meet all regulatory requirements for yachts under 500 GT.

First semi-custom line

The C144s series is the first semi-custom line from Conrad Shipyard. According to the shipyard, it was developed in response to strong demand from customers looking for a balance between individual design and a proven platform. With the delivery of the “Moonlight”, Conrad Shipyard aims to further strengthen its position as a builder of customized luxury superyachts.

“It is a great honor for us to be able to say goodbye to another unique superyacht from our shipyard, which is now beginning its journey around the world. We are grateful for the trust that has been placed in us and for the opportunity to bring this remarkable project to life,” says Paweł Polak, motor superyacht expert and project manager.
