Turkish shipyard Numarine has delivered “Mitan”, the second unit of its 40MXP series, to owners from South America. The 40-metre yacht follows the concept of a Mediterranean-style explorer, combining long-range capability with generous outdoor areas.
The 40MXP is an evolution of the proven 37XP series and offers increased space through an extended hull. By shifting the saloon slightly forward, the aft deck now accommodates a spacious outdoor area with dining, bar, and lounge facilities. The focal point is a pool with a glass transom, connected to a wide hydraulic swim platform that provides direct access to the sea.
Unlike the first unit “Miouch”, “Mitan” features a fully customised colour scheme. The yacht is powered by twin MAN engines rated at 800 hp each, with an optional Tier III-compliant 900 hp configuration. According to the shipyard, the range reaches around 6,000 nautical miles at eight knots.
26XP series completed – successor 27XP introduced
Numarine has also announced the sale of the final unit of its 26XP series, bringing total production to 30 yachts, with completion expected in 2026. The successor, the new 27XP, was unveiled at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival. Designed by Can Yalman (exterior and interior) and Umberto Tagliavini (naval architecture), the 27-metre model is scheduled for launch in 2026.
New charter platform and partner in Australia
In addition, Numarine has launched the “Numarine Charter Club” in cooperation with Neo Yachting. The initiative will see all Numarine charter yachts listed and managed centrally under one platform.
The shipyard is also expanding its global network. Flagship International in Sydney has been appointed as exclusive representative for Australia and New Zealand, with the goal of strengthening Numarine’s presence and customer base in these markets.
