Tesvolt

The engine manufacturer MAN Engines has become the exclusive supplier for Next Yacht Group Srl. The cooperation relates to the new models of the Maiora and AB Yachts brands.

The latest development, the 30-liter V12X yacht engine with 1,618 kW, will power the AB95 yacht model with a three-engine system. “We are relying on nothing less than the latest generation of engines from MAN Engines for our latest coup – the AB95,” says Giorgio Mattei, Vice President of the Next Yacht Group.

Since 2019, the engine manufacturer – via its Italian importer Ranieri Tonissi SpA – has been the premium supplier of MAN V12-2000 engines for the AB100’s three-engine system. This reportedly underlines the long-standing and successful partnership between MAN Engines and the Next Yacht Group.

“We are extremely pleased to deepen our cooperation with Next Yacht Group. MAN engines have always stood for exceptional quality, high fuel efficiency and an excellent power-to-weight ratio. As such, they fit perfectly into the common denominator of the two different and distinctive product lines Maiora and AB Yachts,” says Reiner Roessner, Head of Sales at MAN Engines.

All MAN Engines engines are suitable for regenerative diesel

MAN Engines supplies a wide range of V12 engines in the upper power range with 1,397, 1,471 and 1,618 kW to the Next Yacht Group. These are intended for the Maiora 30 and Maiora Exuma series as well as for the AB80, AB100 and the new AB95 and AB110 models.

All yacht engines from the current product portfolio are approved for use with regenerative diesel in accordance with the EN15940 standard in Europe and the US specification ASTM D975 of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), the engine manufacturer announced.
