The lightning protection specialist Dinnteco Group has received RINA certification for its marine product portfolio.
The Italian classification society has certified Dinnteco’s grounding and filter devices DDCE Marine, Dinmar and Dinfil. The certificate confirms the technological reliability of the solutions designed to prevent atmospheric discharges and electromagnetic fields in maritime and coastal environments.
Dinnteco’s systems meet high requirements in terms of quality, safety and performance, making them suitable for maritime and industrial applications where protection against storms is critical.
“This is not only recognition of our technology, but also of the commitment and dedication of our entire team to developing solutions that protect lives and infrastructure worldwide,” said Katia López, CEO of the Dinnteco Group. She added that this milestone is the result of many years of research and advanced engineering.
One of the company’s European distribution partners is Hamburg-based ELNA. Leif Schick, CEO of ELNA, commented: “The type approval meets the requirements of the relevant classification society or flag administration. In practical terms, this means that RINA has approved the DDCE lightning protection system for use on classed yachts. This will certainly give the system additional momentum within the yachting industry.”
