Seattle-based shipyard Delta Marine has revealed further details on its latest project, the 152-foot full-displacement motoryacht “Zembra”.
Designed for long-range travel and exploration, the yacht is currently under construction in Seattle and has recently reached a key milestone with the joining of hull and superstructure.
“Zembra springs from Delta’s proven full-displacement hull platform in the 150- to 164-foot range,” says Delta Vice President Michelle Jones. “This fully trans-oceanic hull design is both versatile and exceptionally capable, continuing our legacy of building true global travelers for active clients.”
Focus on long-range capability and technical outfitting
“Zembra” is being built for experienced owners with extensive cruising backgrounds. The yacht integrates features for extended travel and exploration, including a private helicopter landing area, an ICON A5 amphibious aircraft, and a three-passenger submersible. Deployment is handled by a 3,500-pound SWL boom crane on the bridge deck and a gantry crane at the stern. Additional tenders and water toys are stored inboard.
Accommodation and interior layout
The yacht offers five staterooms, with a full-beam master suite on the main deck and four guest cabins below, one of which is wheelchair accessible. An elevator connects all decks. Interior spaces also include a convertible gym and layouts designed for accessibility and comfort during extended cruising.
“Zembra” will be available for charter through Northrop & Johnson once delivered. Further details on the composite motoryacht are expected to follow as construction progresses.
