Seattle-based shipyard Delta Marine is nearing completion of a new 110-foot yacht—one of six custom yachts currently under construction at the company.

According to Delta Marine, the new motor yacht was developed in response to evolving market dynamics, particularly in the 110- to 124-foot range. The project features a newly developed hull platform, designed for long-range efficiency and capable performance at higher speeds.

Accommodations include four en-suite guest cabins on the lower deck, sleeping up to eight guests. These comprise a full-beam owner’s suite, mirrored double cabins, and a VIP stateroom forward. Crew quarters for two are located aft.

Walkaround side decks with wing stations are designed to allow for easy operation. The aft deck is generously laid out, while additional seating and a fully equipped bar are located on the bridge aft in a semi-enclosed lounge, which can be shaded with retractable sun awnings.

The yacht is equipped with a beach garage for storing toys and gear, along with a hinged swim platform fitted with a Hydromar transformer sea stair system. The owners have specified a custom aluminum tender, which is stored on the boat deck and launched via a 5,000-pound davit. Another standout feature is the yacht’s anchoring system: developed in collaboration with an anchor manufacturer, it features a concealed, flush-mounted anchor integrated into the foredeck.

Delta Marine’s new hull

According to the yard, the new semi-displacement twin-keel hull is Delta’s first entirely new hull design to be tested solely through Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis. It is also Delta’s first project to meet both IMO Tier III and EPA Tier 4 compliance, enabling the integration of the latest certified exhaust treatment systems on the main engines.

The hull is optimized for an efficient cruising speed of 12 to 14 knots, offering extended range, yet remains capable of higher speeds. Paired with twin MTU 4000 engines producing 2,600 hp each, the yacht can reach a top speed of 27 knots.

“Developing a new hull form that enables fully custom yachts in the 110- to 124-foot range has been a unique endeavor for us,” says Delta Vice President Michelle Jones. “But we’re thrilled with this design and with the opportunity to showcase our advanced composite capabilities in a fully bespoke, luxurious, family-oriented yacht built for the Pacific Northwest—with performance to match.”

The state-of-the-art 110-foot yacht is one of six custom builds currently in progress at the Delta Marine facility.
