Daniel Strucks has been the new Head of MAN Engines at MAN Truck & Bus SE since the beginning of November. He is responsible for the company’s engine and components business and leads a seven-member management team in Nuremberg.

His responsibilities include both strategic and operational areas, covering Strategy & Product, Development, Sales, Finance, Partnerships & Initiatives, as well as Services & Network.

The 46-year-old mechanical engineering graduate has extensive management experience in the commercial vehicle and components industry. In various senior positions at MAN Truck & Bus – including Head of Commercial Service Operations in Customer Service and Head of Sales & Customer Solution IT – he made a significant contribution to business development in Customer Service and to the digitalisation of customer-oriented processes.

In these roles, he already worked closely with the engine division, gaining in-depth knowledge of MAN Engines’ products, markets, and strategic challenges, the company reports. Strucks also brings international expertise from his time as Head of After Sales at MAN Truck & Bus Korea and as Managing Director of Hyva Germany GmbH, a leading global supplier of hydraulic vehicle components.

Strucks succeeds Mikael Lindner, who since August 2025 has served as Head of Cluster MEA & CIS at MAN and Managing Director of MAN Truck & Bus Middle East FZE in Dubai. Until the end of October 2025, Lindner also temporarily headed the MAN Engines business unit in a dual role.

As Head of MAN Engines, Strucks reports to Friedrich Baumann, Executive Board Member for Sales & Customer Solutions at MAN Truck & Bus. “With his extensive experience in digitalisation, after sales, international business development, and component sales, Daniel Strucks will provide decisive impetus for the strategic development and market positioning of MAN Engines,” says Baumann.
