The Amels 6007 has embarked on a new chapter as she sets sail for the first time, according to the shipyard. In the early hours of Wednesday, 16 April, the 60-metre yacht passed through the lock at Vlissingen, officially marking the start of her sea trials.
The new build measures 60 metres in length, with a beam of 10.40 metres and a gross tonnage of 853. The exterior design was created by Espen Øino, while the interior was developed by Harrison Eidsgaard. Damen Yachting was responsible for the naval architecture.
Amels 6007 reaches a top speed of 15.5 knots and has a range of 4,500 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 13 knots.
