The first unit of Columbus Yachts’ Atlantique 47 has been launched and named “Acqua Chiara.”
With a steel hull, aluminum superstructure, a beam of 9.10 meters, and a draft of 2.4 meters, “Acqua Chiara” was specifically designed to achieve a gross tonnage of 499 GT.
Boasting both exterior and interior design by Hot Lab Studio, the Columbus Atlantique 47 marks a significant milestone in the evolution of the shipyard’s design, the company says. Her naval architecture was developed by Columbus Yachts.
According to the company, the stern lines—like those found throughout the entire Atlantique range—serve as the defining design element of this superyacht, embodying a true sailing-inspired identity. The stern’s outdoor spacesare spread across three connected levels: from bow to stern, the layout includes a covered dining area, a scenic pool with opening balconies in the living area, and a platform with a transformer just 50 cm above the water. A second large pool is located at the bow of the main deck, complemented by a sunbathing area, a circular sofa, and side tables.
“Acqua Chiara” reaches a maximum speed of 15.5 knots
The interiors exude a modern, almost urban aesthetic, featuring a striking contrast of materials: leather, white and dark marble, glass, and mosaic, all crafted by Sicis in various shades and patterns.
The Master cabin is located forward on the main deck, while the lower deck accommodates two king-size bed cabins and two twin-bed cabins, each with private en-suite bathrooms finished in marble and mosaic. The crew quartersconsist of four comfortable cabins forward on the lower deck, housing a crew of eight, while the Captain’s cabin is located adjacent to the wheelhouse.
The garage on the starboard side houses a 5-meter tender, while at the bow on the port side, a second garage accommodates the rescue tender and two jet skis.
Powered by two 1,350-horsepower engines, “Acqua Chiara” reaches a maximum speed of 15.5 knots, a cruising speed of 14.5 knots, and a range of 3,400 nautical miles at 12 knots.
