Italian shipyard Cantiere delle Marche has successfully launched the Nauta Air 108 Tartaruga. Measuring 32.6 metres in length, the explorer yacht represents the latest evolution of the Nauta Air series developed in collaboration with Nauta Design.
Compared with earlier units, the new yacht features refined exterior updates, including fashion plates seamlessly integrated into the dark glazing of the main deck saloon. A six-metre tender with crane is positioned forward on the main deck. Both exterior and interior design have been conceived by Nauta, resulting in a cohesive overall aesthetic.
The interior layout emphasises openness and fluid circulation. The yacht accommodates up to twelve guests in five suites, benefitting from the generous internal volume of the hull. Social areas are centred around the cockpit with unobstructed aft views and the expansive sun deck. Accommodation for a crew of five is located on the lower deck, while the captain’s cabin sits adjacent to the wheelhouse on the upper deck.
The Nauta Air 108 is powered by twin Caterpillar C18 Acert engines, each delivering 533 kW. A Selective Catalytic Reduction system ensures compliance with IMO emissions standards. For operations in environmentally sensitive areas where anchoring may be restricted, the yacht is equipped with a Dynamic Positioning System capable of maintaining position without deploying anchors.
CdM’s naval architecture combines contemporary explorer styling with efficiency-driven engineering solutions. A bulbous bow and flat aft sections are designed to optimise fuel consumption while enhancing stability and seakeeping performance.
Tartaruga is the sixth yacht in the Nauta Air series, with a seventh unit already under construction.
