In 2022, the 85-meter superyacht Victorious claimed the title of the largest yacht ever built in Turkey. However, this record will soon be surpassed, as Akyacht has now embarked on an even larger superyacht project. Supporting this ambitious endeavor is Hamburg-based supplier Jastram.
Akyacht has confirmed plans for a new superyacht build that will exceed Victorious in size, with the first steel cut scheduled for November. The vessel will be equipped with two side thrusters from Jastram’s BU 90 series, produced at Jastram’s headquarters in Hamburg-Bergedorf. This collaboration was announced by Jastram, its Turkish representative Nemo Marin, and Akyacht during the Europort Istanbul. Dutch yacht designer Azure is also part of the project team.
