From April 25 to 28, the Marina Moll Vell in Palma de Mallorca will become a hotspot for the yachting industry. This is when the annual Palma International Boat Show takes place.

The event offers a comprehensive range of products, from new boats of all kinds to nautical products and equipment, services and marinas[ds_preview].

Particularly noteworthy is the Palma Superyacht Village, an area specially designed for sailboats and motorboats over 24 meters in length, which also includes an area dedicated to the repair and maintenance of boats, called Refit & Repair, with the participation of the leading companies in the nautical sector.

The Palma International Boat Show has reportedly established itself as one of the most important trade fairs at the start of the nautical season. This is underlined by the number of participants in recent editions. In 2023, 271 companies took part in the fair and around 600 boats were exhibited, more than 250 of them at sea, spread over an exhibition area of 81,000 square meters. It was also the setting for the presentation of new boat models and products on a global scale, becoming the hub of the sector for four days.

Superyachts are also at the start in Mallorca

The last edition was characterized by a very extensive program of events, such as activities to promote training and employment in the nautical sector. In addition, the Palma Superyacht Village has set up the Innovation Corner, an area dedicated to emerging companies focused on innovation in the nautical world, especially solutions for digitalization and sustainability. Once again this year, visitors can expect an extensive supporting program such as the “Balearic Superyacht Forum”.

The fair is organized by the Institute for Business Innovation of the Balearic Islands (IDI) and the Balearic Yacht Brokers Association (BYBA).
